FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does billing work?

Your plan will run on a monthly recurring basis. You are free to cancel at any time, with seven days’ written notice. However, please note that you will be responsible for migrating your website to your new hosting upon cancellation.

You also have the option to purchase an annual membership and save. However, there is a no-refunds policy on this after a 14-day cooling-off period.

Does this ensure my site will never crash?

Although I go above and beyond for my clients and pride myself on the services I offer, the nature of websites and cyberspace means I cannot guarantee that your site will never experience downtime or be hacked.

What I can guarantee is that I will put preventative measures in place to greatly reduce any risks and will be proactive in resolving any issues and getting things back up and running ASAP. Think of me as your dedicated webmaster that genuinely cares about your small business and website’s performance.

How do I submit support and design requests?

Simply send me an email at kate@rabblerousecreative.com

As a membership client you receive priorty service and support.

Do the monthly design services rollover?

No, the monthly design time does not rollover. However, it can be used to update website copy and images, add in blog posts, update email opt-in or add new lead magnets, etc. Basically, websites require ongoing care and maintenance to make sure they’re working hard for your business and you will likely always find something for me to do.

Custom WordPress websites also always benefit from a monthly optimisation if you find you don’t require any design changes that month.

What if I need extra design time?

For those on the ‘Amplify’ membership, if you require more than 1-hour of design services you may wait until the next billing period when your time renews or be billed at my hourly rate.

If requests you submit are estimated to take longer than your allocated 1-hour, I will contact you about the additions to scope and how you’d like to proceed.

For those on one of the lower-tiered plans without included design services but who may require design services from time to time, please reach out about your needs and I will either suggest an hourly rate or project rate, depending on your requirements.

What if I choose not to go with a care plan?

WordPress websites require more hands on up-keep than all-in-one website builders—it’s the one catch to get a fully customised website that doesn’t limit your design and growth potential.

If your website isn’t maintained then you risk a number of things going wrong which could negatively impact your business:

  • If WordPress, your plugins, and the development tools aren’t maintained it can leave your site vulnerable to hacking and cyber-attacks. It’s really important your site is updated regularly.
  • Your site can become really sluggish and slow if it’s not cared for.
  • You won’t have any backups to revert back to if your site crashes or is hacked and you risk losing your content and Google ranking.
  • You will have to deal with the tech support of 3rd-party companies, or troubleshoot information and action it yourself. Whereas, I offer personal webmaster support and will do the tricky tech stuff for you.
