SOMETIMES YOU JUST HAVE TO PLAY BY THEM
STANDARD TERMS OF TRADE
RABBLE ROUSE CREATIVE is a brand, but behind the brand is a real-life human (me) who’s compassionate, completely dedicated to exceptional customer service and her trade, and wants nothing more than for you to get your dreamboat product that you can’t wait to get out into the world.
The creative process is a funny thing and – unlike analytical, step 1, step 2, step 3 processes – it takes time and a lot of trial and error to come to a complete, wholesome and final product. Each project is approached individually to reach an authentic, unique and appropriate outcome for your brand.
Due to the creative nature of the business, I do not offer money-back guarantees. What I do offer is multiple opportunities throughout the creative process for you to speak up and share your concerns. It is rare that a customer is completely happy with the first round of concepts and that the project is finalised and handed over without revisions. As awesome as those nailed-it-the-first-time projects are, it’s more common that something will need to be changed. That’s why I include project revisions in the project; these are stated in your project proposal and contract. You will have opportunities for revisions where I appreciate honest feedback – if you don’t like where it’s headed, think the font or colour isn’t quite right or want to see it with a different pattern, etc., speak up. I am a professional designer; you aren’t going to hurt my feelings.
Understanding that RABBLE ROUSE CREATIVE is creating an authentic experience for your brand and that the process may zig-and-zag before we come to a final, awesome outcome that you can’t wait to shout from the rooftops, will help us collaborate as compassionate adults.
I treat each project as a collaboration (which it is) because, although I may be the designer, it is your brand and your business and the ideas ultimately come from you. Sure, I provide the expertise and the skill to turn your idea into a visual product but we are working on this together. You’ll be required to complete questionnaires and workbooks and provide as much information on your desired outcome as possible before the project commences. You’ll be required to provide feedback and meet milestones and payments on time for the project to run efficiently and to meet the deadline.
A little more on the topic of collaboration:
I have spent a lot of time on attention to detail especially when it comes to my processes so the whole experience runs smoothly and as easy as can be for my customers. Of course, I want nothing more than for you to be completely satisfied with the process and, more importantly, the outcome so please raise any concerns as they arise and I will work with you to resolve any issues before the project progresses.
RABBLE ROUSE CREATIVE is an online business. All correspondence is done through email and an awesome project management tool called Asana. If your package includes it, we will also have a 1:1 project clarity call, which will be scheduled and conducted online.
The use of my developer tools is included in the overall price for the lifetime of your website, so long as I am the primary designer/developer for your website. If you decide down the track that you want to move on and work with another developer, I’ll be sad to see you go but you will have 7 days to purchase your own licenses before I revoke mine. Please note, if you do not purchase your own licenses in this timeframe your website may no longer operate as desired. (Approximate Divi license fee is US$249.)
If you purchase domain names through RABBLE ROUSE CREATIVE these are yours for the duration of the period you have paid up until and are distributed by a third party company. If you purchase hosting through RABBLE ROUSE CREATIVE, it will be valid for the duration of the period you have paid up until, at which point you can renew your hosting package or move your website to another hosting provider. Website migration will incur additional fees.
